Furniture production usually consists of several wood work stages: cutting materials to furniture parts’ shapes, drilling mounting holes, veneering and laminating, assembling furniture item. Personal protection equipment used at these stages of furniture production: particulate respirators, protective eyewear, gloves, noise reducing earmuffs or earplugs. In case furniture is made of solid wood painting and varnishing are added to work process. The following PPE may be necessary for painter protection: half mask with combined protection from solvent vapors and mists of sprayed paint, disposable nitrile gloves and protective overall.
